JEAN CAVÉ BAS-ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1980

  • Ageing Vintage: eau-de-vie from the 1980 harvest alone, unblended
  • Cask Large-grain oak, medium toast
  • Distillation Continuous

At 53.4% vol., this 1980 is among the most powerful vintages in Jean Cavé's cask-strength range. It comes from a single Gers harvest, continuously distilled and aged in large-grain oak casks. For this range, the house explains, the cellar master selected eaux-de-vie whose aromatic richness is in keeping with their strength. A vintage to savour in small quantities, to mark a birth or a wedding anniversary from that year. Olympe decanter, wooden arch presentation.
