Thirty years is the age of this 1996 eau-de-vie, and the mark of the pearl wedding anniversary for couples married that year. The harvest was distilled at Château de Bordeneuve, near Eauze, then left alone in oak casks. For a thirtieth anniversary, it can open a small tasting: served first, before an older vintage, it shows the path Armagnac takes with time. 70 cl bottle, 40% vol., bottled to order, delivered in a wooden box.

The year 1996 offered Gascony a fine balance between freshness and maturity. Spirits from this vintage stand out for their aromatic vivacity and elegance, with notes of fresh fruit, white flowers and hazelnut. After three decades of ageing in Gascon oak casks, they have developed hints of vanilla and gentle spice.
