DELORD ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1991
- Ageing Eau-de-vie from the 1991 harvest alone, aged in oak casks
- Cask Oak casks, in the house cellars at Lannepax (Gers)
A ruby wedding anniversary marks thirty-five years of marriage, and this 1991 harvest is exactly that age. The house tasting notes describe a deep amber colour with copper highlights, an elegant nose of stewed fruits (fig, quince) and warm barrel wood, then a palate of roasted coffee, cocoa and liquorice, complex and long. Like all Delord vintages, it comes from a single year, distilled and aged at Lannepax. Presentation: basquaise bottle, 70 cl at 40% vol., wooden case.
Serve with Neat, or with a cigar, a chocolate dessert or an arabica coffee, as the house suggests
