BARON DE SIGOGNAC ARMAGNAC VINTAGE 1976
- Cask oak from the Limousin forest
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir tawny sands
- Distillation continuous Armagnac-type still
Fifty years of marriage, the golden wedding; fifty years of age, which is also that of this Baron de Sigognac 1976, born of the summer of the great drought. Made from Ugni Blanc or Baco grown on tawny sands, distilled in a continuous Armagnac-type still, it was aged at Château de Bordeneuve, where the Guasch family, who arrived two years earlier, ages each vintage separately in Limousin oak casks. For half a century, it would be hard to find a more fitting choice. The 70 cl bottle is filled to order; its bottling date appears on the back label. Delivered in a wooden box.
