- Cask oak from the Limousin forest
- Grape varieties Ugni Blanc or Baco
- Terroir fawn sands
- Distillation Armagnac-type continuous still
Baron de Sigognac 2003 is a single-harvest Bas-Armagnac, distilled in an Armagnac-type continuous still, then aged in Limousin oak casks. It comes from the house of Bordeneuve, in Castelnau d'Auzan, on a terroir of fawn sands, with Ugni Blanc or Baco. The style is built on roundness: citrus and exotic fruit on the nose, and a finish that lingers on prune and toasted hazelnut. People born in 2003 turn 23 this year, which makes it a ready-made birthday gift. 70 cl bottle, presented in its Baron de Sigognac wooden case.
